headlight dilemma!!!!

right i'm new to the renault game only owning my ph2 172 for 2 weeks now and i've noticed when i turn the ignition on my lights come on even though the stalk is at 0. also when i have normal lights on the side lights stay on aswell is this normal????? read about there being light sensors so lights come on when its dark but dont know if my car is fitted with this also a little something when its raining and i put car into reverse is it normal for rear wiper to start working. i know it may sound daft to some but i'm not used to all these sensors for light and rain

flick sidelights on and off twice and you'll get a beep, its how you turn the auto lights on and off

also, look above your interior mirror, if there is a funny looking sensor that you can see from the outside u have auto lights and wipers

yes the rear wiper does come on if wipers are on and you put it in reverse... fcuking annoying if u ask me... scratch ya screen if there is dirt on the window

thanks for that mate i'm seriously not used to all this auto stuff, should really get out the manual lol i just paniced as i heard electrics are a problem with clios so thought hey up somethings wrong and yeh rear wiper is a bugger when ur screen is dirty.
