Headlight Issue, with diagram...

My headlights are lighting up the wrong area, almost as if they are LHD headlights. But is there any thing else that could be causing this? MOT tester mentioned cheap bulbs?

Are they lhd headlights? Silly question i know.

They will have either "DD" or "DG" stamped on them somewhere.

Well I think they must be, but I can't understand why they would have been fitted.

Does DD mean UK or is it DG?

DD means right hand drive DG is left.

Maybe its had a bump in the past and someone sourced some cheap lhd units.

There's no signs of repair though and it passed last years MOT without any advisorys.

Get yourself some UK headlight deflectors? i.e what we need to go driving abroad, but the ones the French etc would use over here.

Yeh I thought about that Rob, would a car pass an MOT with them fitted?

They both read DG\\DD, is that what you would expect to see on left or right hand drive lights?

You would of thought they would stamp the box into which one it was if you get me. There isnt any other explaination than it has LHD lights fitted if you have a pattern like that.

I had a look at mine today and there is a sticker on the headlights just under the grill. Have a look at that because mine had DD written on it.
