Headlight sprayers

Heres my thick as pig s**t question of the day.

I've looked at the manual and cant find the info re. the headlight sprays. I've also tried standing outside and checking if they come on at the same time as the windscreen sprays but they dont.

Does anyone know how they work and what button i press, lever i pull or knob i twist? Or are the things in front and below of my head lights not sprayers? I have the normal 182 but dont see these things on the cup or trophy versions presumably to save a gram and a half of weight.

when headlights are on pull lever for main jets, the headlight ones will come on if you hold it a bit longer. easy to see when driving down the road, the light projected onto road will change.

You need to have the headlights on, and you pull the lever for the front window washers. I think you have to hold it for a number of seconds before the headlight washers cut in though. Thats my experience anyway. Usually see the shadow as the water sprays across the lights, or little sprays coming onto the bonet.
