Heads Up - Want some 2.0 Speakers?

I wanted some for music/tv, and found these on PC world webstie.

I'd go with 2.1 as you won't get great bass. These are awesome, I use them for my music, even with the decks.

I already have a set of 2.1, but these are for my tv/ laptop.

sound amazing tbh, and a really punchy base.

Yea, it'll just use standard headphone jack.. (3.5mm)

You sure? I thought they required a sound card. Normally connects via 3x 3.5mm jacks. Green/orange/black or something.

Not sure that's right. I wouldn't think you could get 5.1 from a headphone jack.

Ah, yea.. it'll work, but only 2.1 sound.. no rear speakers.. sorry.

So... don't get them.. or get a decent soundcard for the laptop, but it'll be external if you don't mind that - I guess to a certain degree, you'll only be using it in one place anyway, with those speakers....
