headunit codes!!!

I took my standard head unit out and fitted my kenwood stereo but it didn't work with my cd changer. Put the standard back in and it's asking for a code THAT I DON'T HAVE. does any1 know where to get them?

it should be on the first pages of your owners manual (on a sticker)

Ive had a look but theres nothing there also looked on the headunit but couldn't see anything. Wots mattblacks username so i could ask? cheers

i phoned renault and they gave me it for free

I tryed phoning renault but they said it was against the data protection act!!!

go in with your log book mate they will sort it

It should be written on the inside cover of your service manual, along with the VIN etc.
Failing that, go into your renault main dealer and they will give it to you for free... probably wont do it over the phone in case you are not the genuine owner of the headunit, if you catch my drift! ;-)

Lol, god they are jokers. Data protection act is against people, not radio codes !
