headunit problem??

jus bought a headunit converter for my sony xplod headunit it.
i got the unit so thati can still use my steering wheel controls,
plug it all in and my headunit works fine but my cant get the control on my steering wheel to work? any ideas people? help would be very appreciated!!!

Have a look through older threads (or search for Sony or something to find it), I think this was raised recently but i'm not sure a positive outcome was reached.
