Headunit / speaker replacements

  BG182 FF
Hi guys,

The 182 cars speakers aren't up to scratch as you all know. The guy before me had the head unit changed and it seems a sub in the back. I didn't want to use the boot up so I've bought these:

I also wanted to replace the stereo cos it was blue and the lights are orange...

I've been quoted some crazy prices for fitting so I'm gonna attempt it myself. I've read that the door speakers aren't too difficult to change. I've got a query though, how do you get to the back seat speakers?

Also would the head unit just go like for like as it has been replaced previously? It also sticks out a bit so I'm hoping to get it a bit more snug fitting!

If you could let me know what tools I'd need and any tips would be great!

I put a this head unit in mine..Pioneer DEH-X8700DAB Car Stereo and Pioneer TS-Q131C - 13cm custom fit components ..left the rear speakers in.. I fitted it myself.. the tweeters are abit tricky to fit..dont have to take the dash off.as people state on here... they are made for the Renault..you need a steering wheel control lead..and a window aerial..i am looking to buy this,to put behind the glove box..GM-D10044 GM-D1004 - 400W 4 Channel Easy Install Amplifier with TVC concept and input...
I think this the connecter for my radio..depends what head unit you buy..https://www.connects2.co.uk/Product/ProductItem/CTSRN005.2..you also need this type of lead too https://www.connects2.co.uk/Product/ProductItem/CTPIONEERLEAD

for the back speakers, you just clip the grill off..just like the front..(use Renault screw driver.) with all the wiring you need to buy..its a bugger getting the head unit in.take your time..make sure it all works before you put in it..all the wires you need for iPhone and stuff, are connected..feed them through around the ash try.
your radio will have a cage thing with it, you have to bend all the little metal tags for a tight fit..
.for the tweeters ,the grill just twists off, use a 2 flat ended screw drivers to get the tweeter out.one screw driver to force the dash to one side, with the other, click the tweeter out..when its out,tie something round the wire,so it wont go back into the dash, Renault messed up on the tweeters, the holes don't match up to the grill holes.. one side is worse that the other..
for the dab aerial need to take the pillow trim off(I put mine on the passenger side.)(make sure its connected to your radio before you put it in..)need to pick where you want it..then sand down an inch or so of paint work,so the cooper strip can be earthed..refit the trim.. abit hard to get off, needs a lot of force..just do one bit at a time..so don't break anything off.. when you are sanding the paint off.cover the window area with tape//so you don't scratch it..
you know why they want a lot to fit it now..ha.. (with some radios like mine, you can change the colour to match your dash..
