Heat shield advice :)

Hey looking to get some heat shield wrapping tape and a shield can anyone offer any advice on where i can and cant put it?

see lots of pics of motor bikes with their full exhaust taped up but no car pics just seems to be manifold and engine bay

any help appreciated

I think the objective is to keep the engine bay insulated against the heat generated from the manifold and exhaust which could affect cooling and cold air induction....

That's why you've only seen it in the engine bay as far as I know...
