i made a heat sheild out of my stock air box for my piper x
just cutting a few bits here and there better than a open cone on its own and free
can send you a pic if you want
valid point indeed but he already has shelled out for a kit so would defeat the purpose
but i really hate the whole lag of throttle response.
it feels as if the car is just being choked.
link?
but they're too much money
trying to doit on the cheap with stuff i already have
i suppose.
i do have it for the noise mainly.
but i really hate the whole lag of throttle response.
it feels as if the car is just being choked.
but i like the noise too much
maybe just do away with it and get a zorst?
Heat soak on a 1.2?
fit the std airbox back on and remove the airfeeds or drill some holes in the airbox.
Waste of time. Heatsoak doesn't matter on a 1.2, won't give you any performance gain even if it is getting nothing but cold air, just a bit of noise.
