Heated Rear window light doesnt turn off ?

Got my PH2 172 picked it up tonight and when started the heated rear window light stays on

now the switch wont turn it off, but its goes off after about 10 mins of driving and the switch wont bring it back on ?, is this some weid self imposing system because its -2 outside or is something broken ?

So the switch has no effect on the rear screen at all? It's just 'on' everytime you start the car then goes off after it's preset time has elapsed?

mine does exactly the same I was thinking it could be a sticky relay but havnt checked it yet.

yep spot on, and when it goes of i cant turn it back on

Check the relay next, I think it's on the UCH up behind the glove box.

ah right, is there a big relay plate up there, as for some reason thought they were all in the engine bay ?

does it require the glove box comming out ?

Same but in my 1.2 it went off automatically :S

right know where the relay plate is, now can someone tell me which one is the heated rear window relay :lol:

Did you get this issue resolved? I have the same fault on my PH2 172.
