Heated seats prewired?

  Clio RS 2003
Hello,

I was wondering if the Clio 172 has the wires for heated seats prefitted. It's not UK spec, it's imported from France (to Romania). If yes, where can I find them, if no, what do you suggest for an OEM finish (concerning the wires involved).

If this may help, i have the fuse/fuse space in the fusebox, for the heated seats.

Thanks, Rob!

I guess that everyone that stripped their car should know the answer. I'm still not that much of a grease monkey...

The regular Clio, even with the HDG electrical system, does not have the wires prefitted, as far as I know. I was hoping I won't need to connect them to the lighter. I find it dangerous, and certanly not the way it came out of the factory.

Why dont you buy one of those aftermarket heated seats (almost certain i've seen them!), strip it, split your seat, fit the wiring... heaters etc etc... then get the seat stitched back up?

that way, you wouldnt need to wire it up because I think they may be battery powered, so you could fit the batteries in the sleeve thing behind the seat. and have a little controller for it! how cool?! :p

I actually wish I had the time to make that, its an idea and a half :D
