Heated wing mirror(s)

Are both wing mirrors supposed to be heated? For some reason on both my 182 cup and 1.2 16v dynamique only the drivers side has ever worked? :S

Yeah come on with the rear screen demister. I don't see why it would just be the drivers side that is heated though, I can roll the window down and wipe that. I can't reach the other f**king one! Typical french design

Both are supposed to work, my 172 had 2 working heated mirrors, never really found a use for them.

a use? eh? they just demist when its frosty, same as the rear window does. the only real issue is the driver/passengers windows that doesn't so you still cant darn well see anyway!lol!

Mine were never icy though which was weird I guess, I occasionally used them to evaporate the water off them, thats it.

Yeah both sides should work. Not having a rear wiper sometimes I'll put them on to dry them out so I can see behind a bit better. Only ice up if it's been parked with the snow being blown onto them ime

French drivers sit other side though, hence the dodgy wiper design to.

Even if only one side works, the wiring should be there for both.

My passenger side was heated but the driver's side wasn't - when I pulled the mirror off I saw the reason why. The wires were there for it but the mirror itself didn't have the element behind it. New mirror with element, wires connected and voila! Both mirrors now heated
