Heater / air con problems

I was driving home my 197 and put the full blowers on to demist the windows.
It then started to make a funny squeaking noise and all of a sudden water was squirting down from the bottom of the glove box in the passenger footwell.
I turned it off and then on again and it didnt do it again.
Any ideas what it could have been????

Maybe the drain hole is blocked, the aircon does not only produce cold/hot air, it also takes humidity out of the car...check the drain pipe from under the car...
