Heater - F00ked

on my gf's h plate mk1 1.2 5dr clio, none of the settings work on the knob what could it be any ideas ? i have been told its a dash out type job to fix it , help would be appreciated.

i have had this problem, the knobs are attached to cables at the rear and they are known for coming off. had to take mine down to renault to be fixed luckily under warranty

i was told that i could be the resistor pack ?

sorry you will have to explain abit better m8, is it all of the heater knobs not working or just 1 and if so which 1

only the the knob that controls the fan

oh rite mine was the knob that controlled direction, so would imagine the knob that controls the fan wouldnt have a cable but would be electrical so could well be resistor but not too sure m8

silly question but have you checked the fuse box m8

could be the heater motor maybe.

On my old mk1 RT same thing happened, it was the resistor thing under the dash in the engine bay that needed replacing, takes a little while but isn't difficult

If you have a haynes manual it has a section on it in there?
