Heater not working, resistor pack?

Hi! My heater only works on option 1 and 3, 2 and 4 do nothing, but also my controls barely do anything either, for example I can't change the location of which the air comes out of different vents, I've taken out the old unit and am able to change the direction of air flow but if I put it back it gets stuck again

I've brought a new heater control, I believe I need a new resistor pack as well, does that sound right?

Ah its not a 1#2 scrap mine lol

I would just swap resistor see what happens

From what I've heard it's a ball ache to take the dash apart and find it. Is it a case of unplug and plug a new one in and it works haha

Yeah I brought the heater controls because the others get stuck on certain settings, only £15 not to sad about that
