Heatgun paint removal question...

Hi Guys,

Would i be ok to use a heatgun on my inlets to remove the paint from around the Renault sport writing or am i best removing the inlets and using some nitromorse?

I would do it off the car anyways mate, you'll have paint everywhere

I'd also put it in the detailing section lol

Get somewire wool dipped in nitromors and rub it on, Dont worry about touching the stuff,it only stings a tiny bit.

Just been and bought some nitrmors mainly because it was £4 vs £15 for a heatgun which ill never use again.

Ill take the inlets off tomorrow after work and have a play i think. It's snowing heavily here atm and whilst the car is in the garage its a phychological thing known as i cant be arsed lol

Aye, its pretty easy, Just cover the painted bit in nitromors, leave for 5 mins, cover it again and rub it in with the wire wool, leave it a good ten mins and most should come off.
