heavy breaking, vibration under foot....

when ever i do some heavy breaking in my 172 i feel like a vibration under my foot coming up from the peddel. this is mainly when i just slam on the anchers and wait for it to stop....

but is this ABS?????

i have never owned a car with abs breaks so if iv ever driven one i havnt ever pushed it to do heavy breaking....

so is this normal or is it a sign that i need to do somthing to the breaks like bleed or replace parts etc???

otherwise the breaks seem absolutly spot on and will always stop me on a penny. im just wondering about this vibration

If very heavy braking, and only on heavy braking, ABS. If not, warped disc?

If your just slamming on the breaks and it starts vibrating then it's just your ABS kicking in.

sounds like abs to me, gives a horrible vibarting feeling in the pedal

thankgod for that then i was worried about it being a set of new disks cos its only recently just had some new ones lol

warped discs? you got cross drilled one's

na i havn't dpnt worry i know its not warped discs other wise it would have done it under any breaking plus i would be able to hear it catch etc on the pads.

Do some heavy braking on some mud/ grass, you'll feel it kick in then.
