Heavy vibration on idling, any help?

  Derv 65, MPG > BHP
Rather worried about this, any advice greatly appreciated.

Starting up this morning I encountered very harsh vibrations, borderline rattling when idling.
I drive a 1.5 dci 65, not sure if this is a diesel specific problem but because I've never encountered this before, needless to say it's worrying me. It seems to calm down when moving, even at lower revs and through the gears, but it still doesn't feel normal. I'm due a service in another 1400 or so miles, seems like it might be getting booked in a little sooner...

If anyone has experienced this before and has any pointers, again I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

Rear engine mount/tie bar... common on the K9K Clio II/Megane II

Ah I thought it was to do with the engine mount, wobbled the whole block and it seemed like the rubber bush had a lot of play in it. Forgive me if I'm talking s**t, I'm not too clued up on the engine. All I could tell was it just shook like hell and the top cover looked like it was going to pop off...

That's the one, easy to change to but try and buy a genuine Renault unit. They're not cheap but better than the cheapo veraions on the dugger-duggers

So it's not just a case of tightening the nut on the bush? How vital is it to buy a new one, and how much do they cost?

Its unlikely to be a loose bolt... just buy a new one and stop being tight.

Christ I was only asking a question, I was just asking to see if I could fix it myself before running crying to a garage looking like a complete James Blunt. So, if I do decide to use your place, I would just like to get a vague idea how much one would cost if it is essential that I replace it. Like a lot of people on this forum seem to, I don't s**t money, hence why I'm still running a twelve year old diesel.
Thanks for being so f**king helpful :)

My bad, I just don't respond well to being called tight especially after I've spent just shy of £50 for a micro switch. Truce?
