Hello from hampshiree

  Clio 1.2
Hi well i've finally joined this forum :). I previously owned a 1.1 saxo for 3 months until gear box went bang but got it sold and went and got a new car for myself. I no its not a sport or anything special but here it is:

Its had a new belt, head gasket, new tyres, windscreen etc and has covered 73,000 miles. I payed 800 which according to people on a saxo related forum is a bit over the odds :( but ahh well thats what i wanted to pay.

Anyways i was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction of the guide to get my headlights looking nice? they currently look gastly.

thankyou :)

Welcome mate, not a bad car there. Belt change as your aware is very important!

Paying the membership fee is worthwhile, a wealth of knowledge is available on here!

that's a good price for the car with a nice list of recent work done. remember there's almost no cars around worth less than £2k thanks to scrappage scheme

just keep it how it is. maybe get some new plates as the rear one looks as if it's delaminated?

I'd be looking for some genuine renault alloys, some quite nice ones on later 1.2 16vs. if it's the 1.2 8valve engine, you wont get any more power from it. Cracking engine for reliability but not a powerhouse, lol

yeah not looking for power really, just visual alterations. Yeah i'm looking for standard clio alloys but will have to be after next pay day :). thinking about removing badges and spraying the clio one as this would leave a hole? i've searched and found before and after pictures etc but none tell me how to do this step by step :(

there are guides for spraying in the Clio guides part of the forum but you wont have access to them till you pay up

Welcome to CS :)
