Hello from sunny Essex!

Hello all I'm Dan from Loughton in Essex...New to the Renault scene picking up my Mk2 Clio in the morning after having found the lovely little motor earlier in the week came up at a nice price and in good nik so i decided to go with it! Moved on from a wait for it.....Rover 25 As you have probably guessed now the head gasket went! (Didn't come as a suprise tbh) This will be my 2nd car and i'm hoping it will bring me many years of joy. I'm a big car fan and like getting down and dirty under the bonnet on a sunday afternoon! Just posting to say Hello and was wondring if there are any last minute checks/common signs to look out for when buying a Clio? its the 1.6 Automatic if thats any help. I have pretty much got my heart set on a clio now and this one seems pretty good to me!! I do intend of having search/read up on the forum once I get in from work but if anyone has any quick tips or pointers I would love to know!
