im searching for info on renaul megane 2.0 williams engine



i found a car but now i need to know the goddies and the baddies on that car



also many pics on it and perfomerns spec and so on

Love to help you out mate but i really dont know much about the spec of the williams block, ill tell you what little i do know.

F7r engine:

Its 150bhp as standard

0-60 is around 7.5 (i think)

0-100 is around 19 (i think)

Top end is about 140 (also i think)

Cant really think of any bad bits that ive heard of, apart from the usual rear arches being prone to rust, the only weak link from the valver was the gearbox and they changed that as far as im aware of.

There are a lot of folk who know a lot more about these cars than me on here, 2 live, northy, Martin. and Thejesus are the first names that spring to mind, but there are a lot more.

As far as pictures have a look in the public gallery there should be tonnes of pictures of williams in there, or the media pics and video section.

Nope - sorry its the Laguna Williams I am confusing it with.

Im sure there was a Laguna Williams - Green with Gold alloys maybe - it was a 2ltr IRC.

the 2.0 16v meganes are F7R engines but they arent the exactly the same as the williams engine they have a completely different head for a start!

there is no williams laguna, or megane or anything other than a clio!

i saw 2 meganes at york other week with williams stickers all over em! one was a yellow 1.6 for a start haha!

If I remember correctly, the Megane bottom end will line up with the Williams 2.0 litre engine. I think that this is what 2live has done with his...if you send him a PM, Im sure hell be the best one to answer you, and he does know his stuff.
