Help Advice needed for new Guy!

Hi all,

Currently have vx220, but looking to sell it and get something with five seats - a clio 182 looks 2 be my main option and i have always loved them!

As i am coming from a vx220 which has amazing handling i want to modify the 182!
I was wondering what sort of mods can be done to get more power out of the 182 and the costs involved as im looking to spend about £2k on engine etc!What sort of bhp and i expect it to increase to and how much faster will it feel?!
Also who are the best places and specailists to use?

Any help/advice would help alot!

Engine mods arn't good value £2k will get you about 200hp. It will feel a bit quciker but its not a huge jump like a turbo would get with £2k thrown at it.

Better off spending the £2k on brakes wheels and suspension mods Leda coilovers profeshional setup are the best but pricy (£1.5k setup or so) then H and R are about second for road/light track use there £3800 or so) then different wheels will help cool the brakes (stock wheel don't let the brakes cool well) and then brakes upgrade depends hwo you find stock brakes.

There a few specialist depends what your after
Yozzasport do engine and suspension and brakes stuff
GDI do engine suspension and brakes stuff
Angelworks and Stan* on here do engine tunning.

There a few people on here ie PMurry and john 2modieifed who sell parts and remaps.

Welcome mate, if you wanna spend an extra 3k on two exhaust pipes get the 182, but if you wanna do some serious tuning get a 172 and use the money you save to tune!
