Help! amp cable through firewall, how

I need help guys,

For anyone who has put an amp power cable through the firewall on a MK2 Clio

, please tell me how you do it!

I cannot find any hole to push the cable through...do I have to take off anything off the engine bay?

If you search this forum there should be quite a few topics on this. But if you can locate the grommet that has the bonnet release cable going through it then that is where i put mine through. Not easy but the easiest I could find.

did you feed the cable from engine bay or from the inside? how did you do it?

cant even see where the cable is going, how am I able to fit it through that little hole...

I did the same as towser but as he says it is a b**tch of a job! I did it by cutting the grommet below the bonnet release and then used a circular file to make it bigger.

Then I fed a coathanger through the hole and managed to get the into the engine (to see where it comes in you will need to remove the power steering pump). Then I taped the wire to this and put some baby oil on the wire. Pulled it back through into the cabin and jobs a goodun!

I have to confess that it was a two man job and did require taking the power steering reservoir off the fire wall. Just trace the bonnett release cable back from the catch at the front of the car to locate the grommett.
