61 plate, imobiliser light was going mad and key wouldn't unlock.

Disconnected the battery and the key now works however the car still won't turnover.

Can hear clicking coming from passenger side under dash.

Battery tested and fine, won't jump start either.

I thought faulty earth? All lights on dash start after some flickering.

How did you test the battery?

Replaced it with a charged brand spanker 🙄

Give them all a wiggle maybe 😂 I'm not sure where they all are on a 200.

Try putting a jump lead from the negative terminal onto the engine block somewhere

Got 2 keys both same issue so unlikely I guess. 🤔

I know this might sound daft but sometimes when we are doing strip and fit on cars we have to double click the car key fob to totally disengage the immobiliser, you could try this sounds simple but we found it worked and also check all doors a closed as this will cause the problem
