Help fitting bucket seats....

Hi guys,

My new bucket seats arrived earlier this week, and as Ive got the day off today I thought I'd have a go at fitting them.
Im not the best at this sort of thing, so go easy on me!

Ive doing the work ont he passenger side first, incase anything goes wrong, then I can still drive the car!

Ive managed to remove the seat (Recaro Trendline) so Ive got to this stage:

Now I need to fit the subframe. The subframe is for a 05 Clio, but the two holes near the door dont line up, however there is another smaller bracket with the subframe that does have holes which line up, but I dont know how it all goes together!

I assume it's all meant to go together to look like this, but Im not sure how to do this.

If anyone can shed any light on this then that would be awesome!

And I dont have any fixings or bolts for any of this either, including the sidemounts, so if anyone has any recommendations for that, that would be great too

One last thing, as the idea initially is to run with seatbelts, how do I re-fir the seatbelt fastening? As this all came off with the Recaro on the runners!

Looks to me like the separate piece might be bolted on in the centre of the car by the handbrake under the subframe and then has a mount for the seatbelt to be bolted back onto??

Yes I had the drivers side subframe! D-OH!

The other one lines up perfectly, but Im still not sure how to fit that other smaller bracket to fit the seatbelt clip

I imagine it fits under(or over) the subframe like a washer would.

I would expect it to sit as it is in pic 3, but on the holes nearest the handbrake if that makes sense. Not sure if the holes are the same spacing though. Hard without being there.

if you bring the subframe for passenger side and passenger seat, bring all the other stuff that came with it and il sort something out for you. i'll pick up some bolts if i can too.

Not yet m8, as Ive only got the passenger one in at the moment. And Ive come into a bit of bother with the seatbelts, as the Recaros will be sold with the seatbelt clips, I would have to buy new ones. Not so hard I know, but I think seatbelts are going to be a pain as they dont fit around the seats nicely. So I tomorrow I'll be ordering some Sabelt harnesses and run with them instead

They are awesome, they are really buckety, and you sit pretty deep in them, which is why using a seatbelt would a pain in the ass!
