got some major plans in the works, kinda need some help i understand people drilling holes in the chassis in attempt to save weight and it also looks cool in some places, like that white 106.

question is where can i drill holes out that would be safe? im thinking on placing cabon door cards in and in the rear and was going to drill holes out around the top section of door card, and all is getting sprayed

Not having bits is ligher than having them so forget carbon replacment cards etc.

Drill holes in the door handes is one idea.

There loads of good easy weight to be removed before you ever need to touch drilling the car.

polycarbonate windows are a massive weight loss, reducing the wheel weight makes a large difference too. im new here and dont know what the spec of your car currently is, but what have you done gearbox/engine lightening wise?

well the back is going to be completely stripped, is it possible to remove the bolt in the centre of the tyre well? door cars will only be 1-2mm thin to keep them light and stop it looking to garish, would remove roof liner but dont know how much it holds the sunroof shut.

really need to know how yozza did there front doors like removing window motors and if the window will stay up? just have basic handle and door pull

its had all the air bags removed its currently in a slightly modded way but no major work

Just use some wood etc or superglue them shut esle go ploy carb anyway.

The tyres well bolt? The one in the center of the wheel I take it you mean ? If so nope that holds the driveshafts on at the fornt and the disk on at the back so definatly don't touch them.

Just remove the whole roof panel and use a none sunrooded one.

yea the spare wheel well there like a bolt welded into the middle of it which sticks up looks like its welded to a plate which is welde to the floor?

how many queen head sheets am i looking at for the ploy carb windows?

disc cut the boot bolt off lol.

one thing i did which not many people think about on one of my previous cars is when the gearbox is out or having new clutch fitted, either fit a lightened and ballanced flywheel or take the original to an engineering company to get it machined down a bit. cost me £30 an made a huge difference in acceleration. best £30 EVER spent lol.

never done the polycarb windows myself so wouldnt know how to get them done

if your after lots of small things that make a big difference, look and the bolts holding the car together. pain in the ass but possibly some weight loss to be had there?

Well strip the car out go to a stand alone ECU bin the UCH and all extra wiringtremove the heater/air con etc no need for it or its weight.

Yep simple wirin loom t ligh weight everyhting plus make it simplier no alarm or least bin as much as you have.

hell yea, brakes are for pussies haha. u dont need power steering either, get rid of that too........or a roof infact, just cut it off an rit a cage to keep it from snapping the car in half

Battery > Key barrel > Starter > Alternater > Earth

On a serious note stuff like rear wiper motor & arm? Bar in the boot for the isofix kids seats? rear seats? centre console, carpets etc

it takes alot of pulleys and stuff to make a life size remote controlled car i'll just leave my duds at home

Remove magnex for an orbisound or yozzasport system
rear wiper mechanism, boot trim.
4 carbon door cards front and for the rear cards
remove the carpet and just have 2 mats
drive around with minimum fuel
change battery for a race one
fit a race fuel system with 20 litre tank like the Nana

Yeah the yellow valver/hybrid gaz owns it polished tank in the boot looks really good.

remember to take a s**t everytime you are about to go out in it, keep nails trimmed, hair shaved, lightweight shoes and clothing, leave your wallet and phoner at home, get a usb head unit as a ememory stick is lighter than cd's, only 2 front door speakers?

remove bump strips, smaller number plates, get an expression spolier instead of cup/dynamique spoiler, paint stripper the car, i bet theres a good amount of paint on it.
