help in lowering my 172 pretty please!!

hi guys my springs and shocks are shagged and just wondered i am getting some apex springs and i have 195 50 15 alloy and tyres WILL I DEFO NEED CAMBER CORRECTION BOLTS FITTED TO THE SETUP anyone who has these springs comments welcome i have the car booked in monday so i need to order these asap ..is it a big job adjusting the camber cheers again

no you dont. but you will need it re tracking.. adjusting toe etc

marvellous cheers guys that is less expense all round then would the garage do a tracking and balance check as part of the lowering service it is just a normal garage by the way

Lower it yourself, don't pay 60 quid or something for someone to do it for you. Also if your shocks are shagged you're gonna need new shocks to go with your new apex springs. For the camber/tracking, as mentioned above really, I'm gonna give mine a while to settle first. Tracking should be no more than £30.

Its easy to do. If your shocks are shagged, then you should get them replaced or get coilovers. Apex give quite a harsh ride and on busted shocks it would be s**t!

^ My apex are a better ride! To be fair though my standard springs were hard as fook, back breaking. With the apex on mine, the ride is surprisingly better, looks better, handling improved and body roll reduced.

cheers guys thank for all the advice i am getting new shocks fitted at the same time cant afford coilovers just yet but hey maybe in the future who knows thought while they had the wheels off lets get the springs done hehe is it true the apex come with a 3 year warranty

Im not saying Apex give a bad ride! Ive got them on my car. The cup pack suspension was pretty firm anyway, but now if i hit a bump or pot hole, i defo know about it lol! Looks awsome though!
