Help me remove my dump valve!

Hi, bought a clio mk3 1.2t about 2 months ago and the guy who had it previous to me had made some mods. Some he has done well, some he has not. He had a dump valve fitted to the car, which for the first week was a laugh, but seriously, need it off, its doing my head in and sounds stupid. Was just wondering how difficult it will be to remove for someone without hardly any mechanical experience? Its ruining my car lol

get in touch with Collins or EARS motorsport, sort you out with a blanking plug, and then you'll need to blank thr vacuum too, screw and a bit of silicone does the job quite nicely

Do you think its an easy job? Or reckon it will cost me? As I'm looking to do some pretty big mods soon (expensive=poor)

should be a piece of piss. only held in place with a jubilee clip and the vacuum hose pushed on. get a pic up of it

That doesn't look right anyway. The small blue hose is suppsoed to be going to a blanked off diverter valve.
If it was me, then I'd pull the dump valve off, blank the hose off (I have a spare plug if you want me to send it to you) cut the thin blue hose to what ever it is attached to (leave some attached) and then put some silicone in the hose to seal it. I have a DV on my Volvo but its a completely different set up to yours and mine was done properly

no, thats right, vacuum is from the plenum chamber otherwise it wouldnt work. repeat the action as above and post#2, then no more dump valve, and if its at a decent boost pressure you should hear the wastegate flutter on overun
