Hi,
My 182 has developed a missfire. It started off one morning after leaving it stood for a few days. It was quite obviously only running on 3 cylinders and the Engine Management light was flashing for a while before going solid. Later that day I drove it home from work and gave it some abuse and it fixed itself. It then ran fine for a couple of weeks using it every day, until I went on holiday.
On my return, exactly the same fault. Plugged it into a scan gauge and it has come up with codes P0203 and P0303 which is apparently missfire on cylinder 3 and an injector fault on cylinder 3.
I have changed the coilpack to no avail. I have checked and cleaned the plugs. All seemed ok. So an injector sounds like a likely culprit.
Is this a known or common fault?
Has anyone else had an issue like this?
What's the best/cheapest way to go about fixing it? Second hand injector from clio spares?
Thanks
