Help! MSN at work!

Hello, now I want to use MSN at work, on my work computer, but working for the council they lock the computers so you cant install anything!

Is there a way round this, or is there some way of using MSN without installing it as such.

I don’t really know - anyone got any ideas???

You can get portable MSN (7.5) which requires no installing.

if u sign into hotmail it signs into msn automatically

Be careful they aren't monitoring your network traffic. MSN sends messages in an unencrypted format. Very easy to sniff of the network. Read your AUP make sure you don't end up in the s**t. And don't say anything bad about people art work via MSN!!

A better way is to use gmail chat over https

Usualy they can't read your trafic without informing you. But like I say read your IT AUP. Cause they may have a clause saying they can monitor you anytime they want.

had no problems with it and been using it ever since i've been at work 10 months ago

if u want msn the real one, then if you have got a flash drive just copy over the insatlled files that are on your c drive at home. Then when you get to work run the msn exe off the flash and jobs a gooden. We do this at college, but they block the port that msn uses so we have to try and get around that.

personally when i am at work i vnc into my home computer so that work can't see any websites i've visited or apps i'm using apart from realvnc or remote desktop which is built into windows. I have a fixed IP, but you could set up a dyndns account if you wanted to do this.
