help needed ASAP!!!!!

How can you tell the difference between a 182 and a 182 cup/packed, theres a brakers/salvage with some 182/172's in and i'm wanting the rear strut top nuts (located in the boot)

got some FK's (2nd hand) there from a 182 cup, got the front shocks on its just the rear struts which are a pain as my 172 cup nuts won't fit. The thread is different

just need things to look out for on them so i know its a cup

its not that your nuts are different from a 182 etc, the FKs have there own thread on the shock

they will just be a stock size nut. i had this problem with my FKs and good engineer (sp) shop will stock them for a few pence. take a shock down there and find a nut that fits

do the nuts come with the coilover's when you by them new then?? or do you have to hunt for some?

can you go through FK to get some??
