I've got a Clio 1.2 16v which I bought 3 weeks ago.. I've noticed recently when the clutch is not pressed and just idling there is a loud tapping/rattling noise coming from the gearbox area. The noise goes away when you press the clutch down
I've uploaded a video onto youtube so you can see what I mean. The garage I bought it from said they had a new cluch fitted to the car the day before I picked it up..
I have done a lot of research but so many different things come up and garages are only interested in taking my money just to have a 'look' at it!!

Any ideas? Should it make that noise after a clutch change?
