i have 7 airbag faults on my renault clio 2005. 1 of which states " replace computer after impact, locked following impact. permanently. what's the best and cheapest option for me to sort thos? many thanks

1) send your airbag ecu off to be reset (search eBay)
2) replace airbag ecu with a used working unit
3) visit a specialist with Renault Clip to reset the ecu

i've ordered a new airbag but wondering if i need the brand new ecu if the diagnosis stated replace the computer after impact. is the computer meaning the ecu?

The airbag ecu is under the centre console where the cup holder is.

You need to send it off to be reset or swap with an identical part numbered one.
