Iceberg PH1 172
Hi folks. This is starting to do my head in so im reaching out for help.
I bought a ph1 iceberg in dec last year and occasionally it would fail to de immobilise the car. Simple fix. Just lock and unlock the doors again.
Now the key has stopped operating the central locking and the immobiliser is stuck on. (Rapid flashing)
I had a mobile auto electrician repair the microswitch in the key yeaterday and he has tried to re synch the key to the car which it refuses to do.
ive also tried holding the key button in whilst cranking as per youtube videos..
i have the immobiliser codes in my car docs and it matches the number inside the key fob and
A virgin blank key from renault is a 10 day wait. Made longer by the fact i was lazy in sending the v5c to dvla when i bought the car (just split from wife. Head up arse etc)
Im not sure where to progress from here.
a salvaged ecu. Uch. Transponder ring and key and locks from a ph1. Or a immobiliser bypass dongle from the internet..
Thoughts?
