help needed !!!!!

after buying my phase 1 172 a few days ago i got a nasty suprise today took the car for a run and heard a horrible noise stopped and looked under and there was fluid pouring out and bits of metal nursed the car home and its still pouring out smells like brake fluid and is coming somewhere on the gearbox side of the engine any one able to shine some light on this

i would say you have killed the gearbox. not good

You need to see where its leaking from coil be a proken gaiter from the gearbox.

was private seller looks to be leaking near the gear linkage but there is also bits of casing at the top missing
