***HELP ON COLOUR CODING***

had some done by a garage

sum of it was the wing mirrors, they used the correct paint they say but as it is a rough surface and not smooth the platinum silver which is sort of a pearlescent silver with blue paint they used has come out more silver...

it has come out a diff shade of silver as without the blue hint

this normal?

YEE HAAAS ie Cowboys:)

i doubt they have prepared the surface correctly...takes alot of prep work..really needs a good sanding down (oh er)...if you aint happy...go back!

they aint cowboys, they hve done a lot of good and pro work, im goin back lata and will get them to sort the colour out then

I heared that silver is the hardest colour to match, also my mate used to work at a bodyshop and he said that alot of places wont prep the suface properly unless you tell them thats how you want it done. Because the prep is the longest part and garages are lazy, if they can get away with not preping it properly then they will.

Only way you will get a good job is if you pay good money, otherwise why moan when it looks sh*t, your own fault for being cheap and thinking you getting a good deal, just cos someone knows someones brother whos mates know someone else who works at a bodyshop, lol!

they r doin it with no xtra charge

jonesy-ur a moron if u really think id pay less and get a sh*te job? who wud? i was recommended to them by various people and got mates rates for that.

i didnt think that ud have to say that u want colour coding the same colour od ur car
