help on fitment please

hi, got a 2000 reg 1.6 16v clio and have just bought a g-max kit to lower it 60mm and have also bought a set of 17" tsw wheels 17" x 7 with an offset of 40mm.

will these fit onto my car ok without rubbing or scuffing??

any advice on this will be greatly appreciated

if anything you may find the wheels are too far in the arch. so some spacers should sort that. 3mm ones if that to give you clearance over the suspension etc.

does it work that the higher the offset number the further into the arches the wheels sit or the further out of the arches they sit??

gmax are budget, my springs are so hard its unbelievable

exactly^. et40 with a 5mm spacer = et35.
