Help, Ph1 non OEM aerial

I know loads of you Ph2 guys have different aerials but i havent seen any ph1's (that i know of) I remember reading about ph1's being a different fit? This means there is less available?!

Is this just different size thread? If so what am i looking for??

I'm fed up of the javelin hanging off my roof!

I got an areial off ebay for £5 is about half the length of the standard one, looks miles better.

That'd be cool cheers, just looking for something a bit (by a bit i mean a lot) shorter, the std mk2 ph1 aerial is HUGE

short stubby bee sting kind of style on mine and is very short, about 5" in total

so did i, until the sun bleached the black paint or whatever was on it and turned one side of it a goldy colour, i ended up with an autoleads one off ebay for about £3 iirc

The ph1s have the same fitment as a Mk1 clio.

Just chop it to the length you want with the big hedge cutter things, worked a treat, then glue a cap on the end
