HELP!!! my alarm keeps going off unless i leave the ignition switched on (not the engine just the ignition) to cut a long story short my mate threw my keys, i didnt catch them, alarm button thing broke...got it to work by holdin the button that snapped off against its connections n now it doesnt work anymore the LED still lights up when u press the button but the car doesnt respond in any way...would disconnecting the negative from the battery shut the alarm up just for tonight? its a selca car alarm dunno the model coz i cant find the bloody instructions!! thanks a lot please help...

I have no idea how to disconnect the alarm...and also. if i open the bonnet after about 30 seconds the alarm goes off so i dont have long to disconnect whatever im going to disconnect, and the only way to stop the alarm going off is by having the ignition on and im not going to disconnect any electrical things with the ignition on??!?! please help!!!
