I've read nothing but complaints about how ph2s are not as much fun as their old ph-quicks! ;)

i know but i have had my fun in a quick thinking about a ff because bit more creature comforts and a bit more up to date

Ask fUbar he loved his old 172, sold it and got the 182.

Theres thread some place about him falling in love with his 182.

Bear in mind it took a drive to Germany though, before he started loving it.

i had a look at some quicks and they all seem to have been abused cant find a relitivley standard one, plus alot of high mileage and no cambelts done. It just seemed to me that ff would be better now. Going to look at a monaco blue tomorrow which just had cambelt done wants £4500

Just get a 172 Cup they are seen as the pinnacle !

Amen to that :D

Although after Baggins roundabout escapade....

Personally I'd go for a ph1 over a ph2 FF. Reasons being I much prefer the look of the ph1 standard for standard. Cheaper! Cable throttle thrown in too.

Its just the dash on the ph-quicks that dont do it for me.Everything else is fine about them
