HELP PLEASE!!! - Passenger window and central locking fault...

Hi there,

I have 2 problems with my Clio V-reg Mk2 Ph1.

1. The passenger window will go down when pressing the button on the passenger side but wont go back up - So i have to use the drivers buttons to put it back up. Anyone know how to fix this?

2. When using central locking, everything will lock and unlock but the driver door wont lock or unlock, so i have to use the key to do so. When i press the central locking u can see it shake a bit which means it wants to do it but something is stoping it, anyone know what is causing this and how to fix it?

A silly thing like a loose wire on the switch can cause you an issue....unscrew the door handle so you can have a look at the connections on the switch, clean them while you are at it. If that doesn't work (can't remember if the connection block allows it) try swapping the wires around so you have to push the switch down to make the window go up, that will tell you if the switch is buggered or the other wire is at fault.

As for the central locking, take the door panel off and have a look to see if anything is catching or not alligned properly
