Help please strange message during start up

Hiya all!

Mum really did a silly thing she down loaded a bogus virus checker (2010) that came from a dodgy email from ups! anyway ive managed to get her up and running! After scanning and down loaded some proven equipment! free software

but now she has a message rundll error when she logs on :S ive tried looking in to the net and found this http://www.squidoo.com/rundllerror i did what they suggested but still it stays

any thoughts please! i even took my brave pills and looked and deleted x1 file in the registry as stated on the link but no joy!

Do a system restore to before she installed the dodgy program? Then run some proper malware removal tools if it's still present.

how do i go about doing a system restore before she in stored it??!! same section as safe mode if so did try this also!

already tried a good malware removal but still seems to stay

System restore is in the control panel.

Start>Programs> accesories> system tools> system restore

^ Do the system restore and then download MalwareBytes Anti-Malware and do a full scan with that.

Although before you do anything at all back-up all your pictures/music/docs onto an external hard drive or USB pen or something, just incase.
