Help please...? "Trophy" logo?

SharkyUK

Hi folks,

I was wondering if anyone had a high-res (or vector format file) of the "Trophy" logo/decal? Yes, I know it's copyrighted but I'm not intending to rip-off Renault or sell it on or use it for any commercial purpose. I purely need it for a bespoke/one-off design feature for my 182 Trophy.

Any help would be MASSIVELY appreciated - getting quite desperate. :S

Many thanks!

Anyone? :dapprove:

Failing that, does anyone know it "Trophy" is actually a logo or a font/typeface? If so, any idea which font/typeface it is?

Cheers.

I reckoned it would be lol :D

Will keep my eye on your build thread ;) !!
Ok mate - no worries. I will indeed be updating that thread as and when the time comes... which shouldn't be too long. I also have a few other things in the pipeline so hopefully will have something worth posting about! :D

Thanks for the replies guys and thanks to oxygen82 for the help. Nice to know there are some folks out there who don't immediately jump to the wrong conclusion, eh? Hopefully now I'll be able to "perfect" the design and not have to end up feeling like a chump when asking innocently for help... you understand my resentment.

You didnt ask for help, you asked me to send it to another company, not even telling me what it is for. Im willing to help but not directly affect things I do myself. Perfectly honest reply if you ask me,

Rolls eyes directly back at you

Mate, I'll reply to your PM in a moment... but the truth is (and not wanting to disclose the contents of the PM here) I did ask for help. Try re-reading my PM to you! You were recommended to me. Try reading the posts above these! I quite innocently was seeking help for a design hence came to you after you were recommended by the kind folks above... yeah, kinda wish I hadn't bothered now, y'know?

Perfectly honest reply? Well, it was a reply but there was no need for the attitude. How was I to know you had worked the design(s) yourself? I don't know you from Adam and I sure as heck don't know what you do and don't do design-wise. You may have simply downloaded an existing design from somewhere for all I know - hence my asking.

Enough said - let's not waste any more of each others time. Moving on.

Well, Im actually well known on here for being helpful for the most part and go above and beyond what is normally expected from someone in my line of work.

If you feel it is justified to publicly berate me for being honest enough to say no and the reason for my decline you go ahead, Ill take it with a pinch of salt and kindly hope you find what you are looking for.

Regards
Ady

Ady, I'm not doubting your notoriety or ability to help and to go above and beyond expectations. I would imagine that is why the folks above recommended you. But I'm also sure you'd have been more than a bit p!$$ed if you'd received the welcoming reply that I did. I do apologise for bringing this up on here though; with all due respect, I could/should have kept it to PM but I'm big and ugly enough to offer my apologies in that regard.

I don't have a problem with you saying "no" - just the way in which it was delivered. I just don't think it was necessary or called for.

as per post #15, I dont really have anything else I can say. Nobody in my position would I doubt do or say anything differently.

Who was publicly berating you? No one would have known SharkyUK was refering to you had you not replied to the thread the way you! So I think its a little unfair to start blaming dont you?

He was asking for help if you dont want to give that help then you dont have to but there is no need to be rude when refusing it really is that simple

Hardly rocket science given that Ady was mentioned twice before in the thread. Post 12 is where the nonsense started, far as I can see had the tone been appropriate Ady wouldn't of felt the need to reply.

Trophy owners stickin together pmsl. Thanx brownbear
Yep - thanks for the input Brown Bear. Feedback always appreciated.

Still, water under the bridge. Ady said his piece, I said my piece. Job done. For what it's worth, the design was sorted and sent to the embroidery company at 8am this morning so all's well that ends well.

Minor point - evandim* doesn't own a Trophy.

Cheers.

What are you having made up? Red T-shirts with Trophy stamped on them? My wife thinks I'm sad enough as it is. I also wouldn't want to be on the same basis as those Subaru boys who go round with hats and coats! Lol. But srs, what are you having done?

I'll post up what I'm having done in my car thread as and when it's done mate. It's nothing to do with clothing or anything like that. It's not for my person; it's for the car (and for my car only). I certainly don't want to be in the 'same clothes club' as the likes of the Subaru boys (no disrespect)!! :D

Lol. Hmmm. You're having something stitched? I'll look forward to seeing what you've had done.

Be a massive fag to have them taken out and sent off for stitching. Plus, would you want to potentially ruin some Recaro's? Be a bit risky. I'd have the rears or maybe car mats done. Wouldn't dive in with the fronts though.

what else could it be apart what you've said and what i've said got to be one or the other tbh

LOL! Don't get too excited, folks... it's nothing quite as extravagant as getting the Recaro's stitched. But I do like that idea... Hmmm...
