Help Please..

I have had a part of my bumper touched up by Chips away and they appear to have sprayed over some dirt on my bumper ..

Is there anyway this can be removed or will I have to ring them and complain ..

Any help would be great

The work has been done for ages .. I only noticed when I was cleaning her for the Midlands meet ..

I think they will need to do it again, if the dirt is under the paint there is no way of sorting it Maz.

So will they have to sand it down and re-paint ... oh my word .. this isn't going to be pretty ..

The original chip was just a scratch in the paint where someone opened their door on my bumper ..

What if they try to say they didn't do it ??

I cant see any other way of them being able to sort it. Can you get any pics to give us a better idea of what needs sorting?

I guess it will be your word against theres, but if you have the invoice detailing the work they have done they should sort it.

I don't have an invoice .. never ever offered one .. just handed over the cash ........

Argh right.

Feels rough then, Does it look like there is crap in the paint? Might just be poor quality painting or using equiptment that has not been cleaned properly rather than the fact they have painted over dirt. I would be on the phone to them, and getting it sorted if you can.

I will ring them .. just wanted to see if there was anything I could try before ringing because its been sooooooooooo long .. lol and I should have noticed before now ..

If it is under the paint, then there is your proof.

Unless someone else has painted it again since.

Nope the only paint that has been near the car is the work he has done ..

I have called and he is coming out on Tuesday

bloody paint sprayers you just can,t get the staff ,tell em to give you the equipment and you,ll do it yourself.
