Im just in the process of changing my outer cv boot on my clio 172 , and to get it on i have to take the drive shaft out of the cv joint . i hope u know what i mean , will it just knock out ot are they held in with ser clips ????
If its the type with cir clips wipe away all the grease and look for it on the shaft in the joint. Then just splay it and hit the joint as close to the centre as possible.
If the joint and shaft are one peice, you have to take the shaft out and put it on from the other end.
