HELP please!!!

my 1.2 wont drive properly, when its idle, it sounds like its scratching for fuel, when driving it, the car suddenly jerks now and again, and i get a horrible smell from it.

anyone able to help please

Coils most probably gone and it's therefore probably not firing on all cylinders. I don't know what the coil arrangement is for the 1.2 engine. On my old 1.6 8v engine clio there were two coils that fired two cylinders each and when a coil broke it was therefore only firing on two cylinders - very jerky and lots of electrical smells.

yeah theres plenty of fuel

could be coilpack, might need a code reader put on it
