help please

hey peeps, need some help by all you cleaning gurus. right, my mate has just bought a car cheap but the paint work has faded quite a bit, it is a RED car.

Is it possible to hand polish it to bring it back to red? would super resin be an good? or would i need something more abrasive. thanks peeps, any help is appreciated

I really wouldn't bother by hand,especially the whole car. You ideally need a machine polisher.

ideally a DA but you could do it by hand. personally if i were doing it by hand i'd use something very abrasive like t-cut to reduce time. by machine maybe farleca G3 compund? The g3 is brilliant but takes alot if used by hand!

Try either Auto Glym Super Resin Polish, or possibly their Paint Renovator

Unless it's a Ferrari then it shouldn't make a difference any reasonable person would give a f**k about.
