HELP QUICK possitive on 1.4rt coil

i need to find the possitive on the 1.4 rt coil i have looked in haynes but that doesnt show it !!!! HELP QUICK PLEASE

Is this for your rev counter?

I dont have a Coil like that - Got an electronic ignition module so its all one! If it IS for your rev counter, cant you take a feed from the rev counter wire to your dials?

When I had a Mreg 1.4 RT and fitted something that required connection, it was the YELLOW one.

I think that the yellow one is also the thickest wire.

The other connection was EARTH which I connected to the bolt that holds the coil.

Put a tester on it but I am sure its the Yellow! (Christ its like defusing a bomb!, brings back bad Nam memories for me!!!! I mean BirmingNAM by the way)

your all wrong it was the left pink wire,

remind me never to ask u lot which wire to cut if i got a ticking bomb on my desk
