Hello nerds!
Technology noob here needing advice and what’s possible.
I currently have a 2017 MacBook Pro and has finally given up after a number of home repairs and loyal service. I need a replacement pretty quickly.
Now I’m flirting with the idea of going to windows mainly due to cost. I love the MacBook for certain things but don’t fancy spending another £2k on one.
It’s mostly for work stuff website editing and online marketplace listings and some random very basic code. Also deal with a lot of photographs and uploading from iPhone. The MacBook exceeds at this where in the past using windows if found it a bit clunky.
Anyway is there something I can buy that is similarly spec’d to a current MacBook Pro? Can I run a partition easily enough to run iOS and windows for certain things and maybe even run an older windows 10 for some diagnostic software? Is this easily in the realms of feasibility?
Is £500-600 enough or too much for a windows laptop or am I better off upping the budget?
Any suggestions appreciated!
