Help req'd please

Im having problems installing stuff on my new laptop. Ive sussed out that my printer and scanner is not vista compatible, so hav ordered new ones. But i cannot install the software for my sat nav or digi cam. Surely these should work on any software? Any help would be appreciated.

windows vista is quite unstable and is conflicting with 80% of new software that ive seen

not too much can be done unless microsoft and/or the manufacturer of ur software hve updates im afraid

Oh poo. Also it doesnt autorun when i put a disc in.

vista is soooo rubbish at the min

ur just goin to hve to grin and bear it im afraid

it annoys me that pc worlds and all them other big chains are putting stuff out with an unstable operating system

You should be able to download some drivers for most software... Try the manafacturer of the sat nav and camera.

Ok cheers i will check their websites. Also just about to install a wireless router which i have had unopened for 12 months and looks like that isnt gonna be compatible ffs

Cheers for replys. DVD rom drive was faulty. Got the laptop replaced.
